AAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

Hello one and all who blog and surf other people's blogs for fun because they have no lives of their own! I AM ALIVE! I know it seems that I havent been because I have been gone. Well, not GONE, gone, just gone-ish, if that makes any sense. Anyway, I am back. Hip hip hooray!!!!!!!!! Well, I have had a day. Not necessarily a bad one, just a mediocre day where I almost blew up and scattered tiny bits of me all over the school. You see, my friend has been acting really egotistical lately, and I cant seem to figure out why. She got this really important position and I think that it has gone to her head. She used to be really nice, but now, all of a sudden, she's being incredibly mean to almost everyone, including her friends. I don't understand why she would want to do that to us. I really think she has just been corrupted by all this power she has been given. Power DOES corrupt people, or so I've heard. Initially, I had hoped that it was just some weird phase that would breeze by, but it hasn't. She just keeps getting worse and worse, and I dont know what to do about it. It's like shes on the rampage or something. I want to confront her about it, but I really hate confrontation, for the simple fact that people usually yell in these situations. I guess all I can do is hope that she grows out of it. She used to be really nice and fun, but now she's just mean, and I dont like hanging out with her anymore. I just hope she realizes what she is doing.

CAMP SONGS!

Tommorow, after school, I am leaving to go to camp, and preform that lovely play that I spoke of earlier! So, I won't be blogging for awhile. I know all of you out there is cyber space are weeping tears of agony. So! to keep you busy, I have devised a little game! Well, not really a game. Just something for you to do while I'm away. Because I know that all of you will miss me so so very much. (Just play along here people!) Keeping with the camp theme, I have written below, one of my favorite camp songs, from my Episcopal church camp, Camp Henry that I used to go to before I got all intertwined with other summer activities. I would like you to rate the song from 1-10, 1 being the worst camp song you have ever heard, and 10 being a rousing good campfire song that you will remember for years to come, and sing to your children, and your childrens children, and your childrens childrens children. (If you are still alive by then, which depending on future scientific developments, you may very well be). Then, I want you to post any camp song that you have ever heard. And, no, it cannot come from Spongebob. Then, when I get back, I will rate them myself! I hope you will comply. I enjoy camp songs!

BLACK SOCKS

black socks, they never get dirty
the longer you wear them
the blacker they get.
some day i'll probably launder them
something keeps telling me
dont do it yet
not yet
not yet
not yet
not yet!

repeat until disgusted with how disgusting your socks are getting.

and if that doesnt satisfy you, there is always the beefsteak song!

BEEFSTEAK!

FI!
FI FYE!
FI FYE FO!
BEEFSTEAK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
oh no no not the beefsteak!
oh no no not the beefsteak!
eenie meenie disaleenie oo
ah umbaleeni ochi kochi
umerachi ochi kiyou!

repeat 1x

Wolves, and Baby Bears, and Little Red Riding Hood...OH MY!

This weekend, I am going to a mini thing for my girl scout troop. It's kind of a camp. We go up and live in icky rustic cabins on stilts, eat mediocre camp food, and sing odd campfire songs. It's pretty much amazing. Because, let's face it, who doesnt love odd campfire songs? (You may say that you don't, but deep down, I know that you love a rousing campfire song, just like everyone else.) Anyway, since I am in a senior troop (That's the highest you can go for all you non-girlscouters.) we have to come up with something that will entertain 82734982374923847 younger girls whsoe ages stop at around 10. So, my troop has devised something incredibly awesome, that surely everyone will love. A PLAY!!!!!!!!!!! A play that I got to write, might I add. I was throughouly excited when I found out the other girls wanted me to write it! It's a spin on Goldilocks, and The Three Bears. You see,
Goldilocks HAS BEEN FRAMED!!!!!!!!!!! At least that's the premise. Ultimately, the kiddies get to decide who done it. (Being, who broke Baby Bear's chair.) Anyway, the whole basic idea is that there is this inspector, who rounds up all the suspects in a criminal line up. The suspects are, The Big Bad Wolf, Glinda The Good Witch, Little Red Riding Hood, and none other than Goldilocks herself. They are all in a line up, and they all have their reasons for breaking into The Bear's house. They are intertwined in their lives, such as the Wolf having a crush on Goldilocks who is dating The Muffin Man, Glinda who killed The Wicked Witch of The West who was Little Red Riding Hood's dearest friend, and Little Red who is supposedly Goldilocks' friend. It's all one crazy mess, but so much fun to perform. I can't wait to do it in front of people.

PEACE
(Let's gather 'round the campfire, and sing our campfire song. C-A-M-P-F-I-R-E S-O-N-G SONG! C-A-M-P-F-I-R-E S-O-N-G SONG! And if you dont think that we can sing it faster than youre wrong, but it'll help if you just sing along! BUM BUM BUUUUUUUUUM!!!!!..........Told you!)

New York Style Pizza

Yesterday, I drove me and my mom to Tony's after we went shopping. That place was AH MAY ZYNG!!!!!!!!!! I wanna go there all the time now! See, when I was up in New York, my life changed forever. I had, for the very first time, REAL New York pizza. And it was a heavenly experience. I think I saw God. (Okay, maybe that one was a bit extreme, BUT! it was quite delicious). The best pizza I have ever tasted. So of course when we came back, the thought of eating regular ol' southern pizza made me feel a little blue, because I knew that I would never taste a pizza as good as that one. WELL I WAS WRONG! Tony's is a little italian place. It's not really that fancy, but they serve alot of different Italian foods, including REAL NEW YORK STYLE PIZZA! And the owners are from New York, so there's no way they can get it wrong. Anyway, of course we go in, and we order two peices of pizza, because, well, we were hungry. Little did we know that one slice of pizza was BIGGER THAN OUR HEADS!!!!!!!!!! I couldnt even finish one slice! IT WAS AWESOME! Hence my excessive use of capital letters. The garlic bread wasnt too shabby either, and my mom said their marinara sauce was awesome. I didnt have any, because I dont like to taint the perfectly good taste of garlic bread with strange sauces. If you have a hankering for some realy New York style pizza, I suggest Tony's, which I cant give you directions to, because I HAVE no sense of direction!

Arent animals the greatest?

I haven't been on in like forever. Mostly because my life is more boring then a blade of grass. At this moment in time anyway. So, in my vain attempt to find something to write about, I searched the internet, and found these two very interesting pictures. I'm not sure, but I have a feeling that that cat's ear is not behind it's head, but is in fact, not there anymore. Poor kitty. He's like the Vincent Van Gough of the feline world. I wonder what little girl kitty he cut it off for. Ah well, his expression is funny, even if he is only mono-eared. Then theres, da na na na na na na na BATDOG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Quite an excellent likeness of Batman, I must say. Although he might have a had a tad less fur. But, in such dark times where our own crime fighting superdog is needed, I have to ask. Where is Robin, The Puppy Wonder? How can our brave hero go on without his colorful sidekick at his side? The world may never know.

enV

So today my Dad and I went to wal-mart for some weights. (Trying to get my arms super muscley for when I try out for drum-major. ((which by the way has nothing to do with drums fyi.)) And anyway, afterwards we went to the VERIZON WIRELESS STORE!!!!!!!!!! Because my RZR is pretty much crap. You would think it wouldnt be what with all its pretty bells and whistles, but the thing is SO SLOW. It's like having *GASP!!!* dial-up internet. So we parused the shop looking for a totally awesome phone, and I think I'm going to get an enV. It's one of those really cool phones that flips up and there's a little texting keyboard, which will be handy now because my dad got unlimited to verizon texting, and 1500 texts to non verizon people. Ha, and he used to say he would never get us texting because it was useless. Well, let's just say it's my brothers fault. He went a hundred dollars over on our texting bill for this month, therefore, unlimited texting. SOOOOOOO irresponsible. I've got to remember to thank him the next time he visits from college. :) Anyway, that's what's happening in my life right now. Blog ya later.

NEW BOOK! (Creative Writing Classwork)

The title my book is Surrender, written by Sonya Hartnett. I decided to check this book out, not only because of the interesting cover, but because of the summary I read on the inside. It is about a boy named Gabriel, who has made a complete mess of his life, and his only two friends are his dog, Surrender, and his friend, Finnigan. But then, arson attacksstrike the town, and apparently Gabriel along the way founds out that his best friend isnt what he thought he was. But, that he is in fact, dangerous and out of control. I love the concept of this, and it just sounds really exciting and gripping. The front of the book is dark, and there is an opening to some large biulding. Red, orange, and black fire is eating away at the inside, and billows up in a cloud towards the roof. There is a small dog on the outside of the door, lit up by the flames, standing clamly, and looking into the fire. I think this could be described as realistic fiction, and I have never read anything by this author before. I enjoy realistic fiction books, as long as the plot is good. If it is just something boring that I experience every day, then there really isnt much of a reason for me to read it, because it's like my life, only written down onto paper. And that wouldnt be very exciting for me.

Summary:

The story starts out with Gabriel's point of veiw. He makes it clear that he has some dark past, where he has made terrible mistakes in his life. But now, he is bedridden, sick with dying. He cannot move of his own accord. His aunt takes care of him. She has to bathe him, help him to the bathroom, and feed him. He has liquid in his chest and it is killing him. The next part is from Finnigan's point of veiw, the wild boy who is, supposedly, Gabriel's friend. He is in the woods with his dog, Surrender. Surrender chases after rabbits, while Finnigan surveyes his surroundings of Mulyan. He is a wild child, who lives outside, and claims that all the world is his. The author has a very discriptive style of writing, using lots of metaphors and similies.

Arson (Creative Writing Freewrite)

Most things didn't bother Jody. Her friends could drag her to a tattoo parlor, tongue piercings, wild concerts, and she would sit through it all like a good friend would. Sometimes she would take part in the festivities, sometimes not. For example, a tattoo was no problem. She had no fear for pain, and as long as she had it done on the bottom of her foot, or the back of her shoulder where no one could see it, she could pretty much handle all the tattoo trips her friends threw at her. Piercings on the other hand were a different story. Her father would have a coronary if he found anything on her body with holes in it besides her ears. As long as the plans were fool-proof, she hung out with who she wanted, when she wanted.

But this time they had gone too far.

Jody stood, frozen to the ground, watching the fiery light show with disbelief and fear writhing in the pits of her stomach. Those reckless people that she once called her friends hooped and screamed around her, running out of sight as the flames ate away at the wood, and licked up towards the sky, filling the blackness with orange light. They were strangers now. Jody's eyes became invaded with smoke, causing water to streak down her face like tears, and soon she could not differentiate between the two. Ash rained down upon the world; black tears from whatever building her friends had set fire to. There once was a reason, she knew, and it echoed faintly in the back of her mind, but she could no longer understand it. There were people in there, no matter what her friends said about who they were or what they had done. Their feeble screams ripped through the silent veil of night, and those sounds, so inhuman, so unfamiliar, brought life into her legs. They trembled, then broke out into a run, dragging her upper body with them. Blue and red lights flashed somewhere far ahead, perhaps where the roads were, but her feet kept pounding, pounding, pounding at the ground. It was like they were trying to beat it into submission, so that the weeds would shrivel into the ground, and the roots crawl closer to the trees so that she could run faster on a flat surface. But that did not happen. Jody's foot caught a root, and down she went, the flashing lights and fiery glow wooshed by, and then dissolved into blackness.

HIYA

Sorry that I havent written for awhile guys. I've been moderately busy...which is code for doing absoloutely nothing. Well, it's april 5th, and still no one has asked me to the prom. Not that I'm sitting, staring at the phone waiting for it to ring or anything. *Shifts uncomfrotably in computer chair* HA HA JK. It's no biggy really, since I'm only a sophomore. I'll have my chance to go next year. Still, Kaitlin is going, and I would like to experience myself. But I can wait. Good news for her though, it is a pirate theme. Uh Oh. Poor Will. She'll be talking about Johnny Depp all night long. (tee hee) She won't really. A junior told me the other day that teachers pick sophomores to be waitors and waitresses at the prom. I think that would be kind of fun, but I would rather not be there for all my friends to ridicule me about the stupid pirate serving outfit that I would have to wear. The sad thing is, I already have a prom dress. I guess it will have to wait until next year. I bought it for a different dance that I ended up not being able to go to, but it is so gorgeous that I'm saving it until prom for next year. (That is, if I dont get asked this year. Which is still very unlikely.) It's kind of a navy, royal blue with silver beading and this flowy thing in the front. I hope that it still fits for my prom next year.

Puzzling Questions...?

How much wood COULD a woodchuck chuck....if a woodchuck COULD chuck wood?
