Summer Blues

Yes it's true, I have the summer blues. That is why I have appropriately changed the color of my type to blue. Clever eh? (CANADISH!) Now although I must admit I am the first one to opt staying home and sleeping until noon to other, more exciting plans, I have to say the quite frankly...I'M BORED! I need something to do every once in awhile, even if I do enjoy the lazy comforts of lounging around all day eating potato chips and watching re-runs of What I Like About You. Eventually, these things become duller than dull, which I know first hand. And it may seem that I am being a bit theatrical here, considering my tendency to over react, and perhaps I am, but I know that some of it is truth. I know this because yesterday, I did laundry of my own free will, cleaned the kitchen of my own free will, and began cleaning the garage of my own free will until I realized just what I was doing, and had to breathe steadily into a paper bag before I exploded of sheer shock. (I exaggerate here people. Or do I?). Luckily, though, I have a reason to get up and do something tomorrow. To make up for missing Kaitlin's birthday party, I have devised a plan to take her on a shopping spree and buy her something lavishly extravagant. (under the price of 50 dollars mind you. Not that she would let me, but I'm gonna at least try. I wonder if there is anything lavishly extravagant for 20 bucks....something to chew on. Anyway, back to the crap you came here to read...). So tomorrow I will grudgingly pull myself out of bed, and hope that I'm awake enough to form coherent sentences when we leave. And then, the next day, I will leave for the beach, a most welcome vacation from THIS vacation. And all I can think of until then is....BEACH HOUSE WITH AN ELEVATOR AND PRIVATE POOL! I suppose it's the little things like that will keep me from going utterly insane! :)
